All visualizations in Vysda have unique formatting settings, depending on the visualization properties. For instance, a bar chart will allow modifying the X and Y axis labels among many other options, while a donut chart will only allow editing the label or bubble format.

Navigate to the Format tab of a new/edit visualization page to access formatting options for labels, bubbles, and axes. Start with selecting the property you wish to edit (the property name will be highlighted in blue). Then, you can edit the corresponding options. All charts, diagrams, and maps have similar options to the ones given below.

The Bubbles option includes font configurations and the text box for manually changing the bubble text, which appears on mouse-over.

Enabled: Enable this check box if you’d like bubbles to be displayed on your visualization.

Format: Enter the text format manually. You can use formatting labels and the Keywords given underneath this page to modify this field. You can also add data fields by using square brackets. For example,

[Department] will give the value of the Department field

[Deparment:[$]#,##0.00] will give the value of the Department field with given format.

Font Family: You can select from a range of font family options.

Font Style: Select font style.

Font Color: Select font color from a palette.

 

Legend option is for customizing the format of the title and coloring in the chart’s legend.

Enabled: Enable this check box if you’d like a legend to be displayed on your visualization.

Font Family: Select from a range of font family options.

Font Style: Select font style.

Font Color: Select font color from a palette.

 

Data points displayed on a visualization can be enabled and configured from Series Labels option.

Enabled: Enable this check box if you’d like series labels to be displayed on your visualization.
